Breaking Barriers: How We Are Empowering Women in Githunguri, Kiambu County.

A heartfelt congratulations to the incredible women who graduated from the Fanikisha Program on April 29th, 2024! 54 inspiring individuals stood tall, not just with certificates in hand, but with the unwavering confidence and skills to become the successful entrepreneurs they've always dreamed of being.

Launched in 2003, the Fanikisha (meaning "breakthrough" in Swahili) Program is more than just a business course. It's a transformative journey. We at Kianda Foundation believe in the immense potential of women, and the Fanikisha Program is our way of empowering them to turn that potential into reality. Through comprehensive business training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and a network of fellow aspiring entrepreneurs, Fanikisha Program equips women with the tools they need to thrive.

This year's graduating class is a testament to the power of this program. These 54 women are not just graduates; they are barrier-breakers. They are the future of Kenya's business landscape. We are filled with pride as we witness their determination, resilience, and unwavering spirit.

We offer ongoing support and resources to help them navigate the exciting yet challenging world of entrepreneurship. Together, we are building a brighter future for Kenya, a future where women are empowered to be the economic drivers of their communities and families.

Congratulations once again to the inspiring graduates of the Fanikisha Program! We celebrate your achievements today and champion your success stories tomorrow.
